Collab- Let My Friends Continue
Hello dear fans. I know that you missed me that is why I am back so fast! Let's see what we have on our plate... Collaborative Writing! This task was assigned to us by our instructor to see its effects.
I was with Asude Başkaya and Nurefşan Çakır in this task. We had two options. One of them was film review and the other one was A Collaborative Project on a Global Issue. We chose the first one. The task required us to create a shared Google Docs page where we worked together to write a 400-word review of the film. Each member took a paragraph and mine was the first one. The name of the film is "400 Blows" directed by François Truffaut and it is about a troublesome young boy.
This was the first time I have ever used Google Docs for such content. It was pretty interesting and at the same time it was really fun. We were able to see each other's texts immediately which made the process easier. I also believe that doing this kind of task is very beneficial for the future researchers. When I conduct a research, having done this will help me a lot.
This task helped me improve my academic and collaborative writing skills. Now I feel like I belong more to the digital era. In 21st century learning, this is a must so I am definitely going to show my students how to write collaboratively so that they can understand these processes better.
