OTHER DIMENSIONS in ELT!
Hello, fan-riends! We meet again thanks to another assignment! This one was about integrating enhanced realities in language teaching. I also had the help of my friends in this "Current Issues in ELT" assignment, Asude BAŞKAYA, Baran DOĞU, Serra Mirac DEMİRKOL, and Gülşen DEMİR, which made it a lot easier to prepare the activities and lesson plan. Our lesson was designed for A2-level high school prep students and focused on exploring Madrid. We guided students through two landmarks (Plaza de la Armería and Almudena Cathedral) and a museum (Prado Museum) using visuals and 360°/virtual tour links. Students answered simple, engaging questions based on what they saw, which helped them practice real-life vocabulary and keep them focused on lesson.
